Today we're excited to announce our integration with AWS Lambda. With this integration, Losant has created one of the easiest ways to connect your IoT solution to the many services AWS provides.
AWS Lambda support is integrated directly into Losant workflows using the new Lambda workflow node.
Losant workflows are one of the easiest ways to invoke Lambda and make decisions on the result. You simply need to provide the AWS credentials, name of the Lambda function, what you want to pass to the function, and where you want to store the result.
If you want to see an example, please checkout our tutorial that uses Lambda to lookup user data from DynamoDB to to control where Losant sends SMS alerts.
We're very excited for this integration since so much of the web is now built on AWS and this provides a new level of connectivity between IoT and AWS services.
